The next chapter of the Canadian Composers Orchestra is about to begin. For the next few years, we will be exploring the vast ocean of Canadian repertoire and bringing our finest works back up to the surface.

We want to increase the potential for great Canadian music to be recognized both at home and abroad. To do this, we will choose works to be re-analyzed, re-performed, re-recorded and promoted on the basis of their artistic merit.

We hope to grow our ensemble over a five year period until we can facilitate and commission larger works of substantial quality. Until then, we believe the creation of high level educational material involving Canadian content is the most effect way for us to benefit our community.
